So on Sportscenter they keep mentioning the 6 teams who have not publicly rejected the idea of signing Vick and I do not see the Eagles on the list.

They publicly stated they would not go after Vick?

No the dirtly little secret is that they dont want him because it might ruin ticket sales or image or whatever else affects Lurie's bottom line.

Vick may suck but hes sure as hell better than Kolb ever will be. I rather have Vick.

Are you confusing Vince Young with Vick? Vick is not amazing but as a back up QB I would much rather have him over Kolb. It would be a one year audition anyway. Plus McNabb is due for a injury. Its been a while.

cobb blows but i 100% do not want vick as a qb on this team period...i cant think of a worse fit in the league for a 50% completion running qb than the eagles offense

they wanna take a flyer on him as a wildcat/flanker/rb/wr then sure whatever im always down for an athlete to be on the team...but as a #2 qb hell no

terrible qb, yes.  but he was one of/if not the best overall athlete in the nfl prior to getting locked up.  does he still have that athletecism?  who knows.  but there's no doubt that having him on the field in a wildcat-type role wouldn't create serious headaches for even the best defensive coordinators.  

in other words, as long as you're not counting on him to drop back in the pocket 25 times a game to throw the ball, but get him out there for anywhere between 5-8 plays a game that takes advantage of his all around athletecism, then he certainly brings some dynamic, big play ability to your offense and any team that doesn't even take that into consideration is foolish.  

the big question is after a 2 year layoff, is he still an elite athlete or has the rest of the league caught up to him?
