I think the real itch being scratched here is the Eagles are too cheap to pay off a small town police force for three weeks out of the year. Damn them and their stingy ways.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Now I like Herremans more than ever too.  Cool van.
Some of the guys who drive on the 4x4 beach we drive on have those, none as awesome looking as Herremans though.  They are farging bad ass though, its a 4k dollar conversion to put 4x4 in the vans and jack them up

I believe the argument being made is that he should have been let go because the team should have paid off the police.

High minded theorizing, I know.

They shouldn't have had to pay off the police. Reid already forbade them from arresting Eagles but apparently this rogue officer disobeyed or didn't get the memo.

no, the problem is they prob just got done smoking a fat-ass blunt in the van, were high as shtein, forgot to put the lights on, they make an illegal turn, cop pulled them over, smelled it......get out of the car...end of story.
This is exactly what happened, but it still doesn't explain how the Eagles have zero pull with the cops in the town.
In fact, reading it again I'm not really sure what the point of your post was at all...

the point is the only pull you have in bethlehem is maybe a free side at breakfast at the local diner and a couple free go-arounds on the gravatron at the fair

Considering Reid's house was literally filled to the rafters with hard drugs, I can't wait to hear the fat cockfarg's rationale for suspending Parker for blowing a little weed.

because they are a bunch of mountain hicks who don't like all the coloreds in their town for 3 weeks and can't wait for a chance to bust their ass

Or maybe just maybe, he thought since he was a professional athlete he would try to act like a fleshpop and so they decided to bust him.  I have a few friends that are cops and they all pretty much say the same thing, they are usually going to let a guy go if it is something small as long as he doesn't act like a fleshpop.

per this mornings practice on McCoy:

The Eagles look like they found their guy with LeSean McCoy

LeSean McCoy continues to look good, he had a really good day today.  He is getting more and more comfortable in the offense and it's showing.  When he gets his hands on the ball, he's getting good at making people miss.  When he gets the ball running or catching it out of the backfield, he's able to make people miss.  He has great vision as well.  If something opens up inside or outside, he makes good decisions as far as where to take the ball.

I saw him pick up Sean Jones on a blitz and if you've seen him, you know that Jones is a pretty big guy.  He's improving his blitz pickup quite a bit.  He runs tough, is shifty and catches everything that hits his hands.  He's a very smart kid and they have to be happy with what they are getting out of him.

McCoy really does fit this offense.  He is so comfortable catching the ball and you know Andy likes to throw it.

LeSean was making everyone miss in the live drills

Andrews update

Reid said the pain in right tackle Shawn Andrews' back continues to persist, and he was not introduced at the Flight Night workout Sunday because he was unable to run onto the field. A team source said that Andrews' back did not respond well to the bus ride from Lehigh to Lincoln Financial Field.

"He can't run right now," Reid said. "He couldn't run out there. I can't tell you when he's going to be back."

Reid said he believes Andrews has a muscular problem rather than a disk problem.

"That's what we understand," the coach said. "We talked with the doctor who did the surgery and Shawn has talked to him. It's just a matter of it calming down and him being able to get back out there."

I'm definately of the opinion that the pro-bowl level, dominating guard we once knew as Shawn Andrews is gone. Guy just doesn't seem to have his heart in it at all anymore, did he even practice two days? I think he's toast, which really sucks, all that talent.

Or it could be more about the chronic back problem he seems to be having and nothing to do with his heart whatsoever.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds
