I used to run 7 minute miles in HS, but it was always the most boring thing I would do in the exercise spectrum. Biking was and still is my preference, but best of luck on th 26th PG..

This stuff works great for knee problems.

Thanks Yeti, knee problems are solved though. Took one visit to my orthopedic surgeon...got these strap things that go around my knees when I run, GIGANTIC ice packs to wrap around my knees after I run and Voltaren gel to use on it (anti inflammatory gel). No pain since. :)

Dude, I would much rather go to Voltron than an orthopedist.

I'm down to 9.5 minute miles now...running 25 minutes straight. I seriously was dying after the last 60 second run interval in week 1. I love this program. I actually CRAVE running now. Its not boring for me though. Its listening to my (not kids) music and being alone (no kids) for 30 minutes after a long day of work and kids. I farging am in love with running haha

Running is a fantastic way to stay in shape until you turn 40.  Then it is absolute sheer farging misery.  I miss it especially considering I've gained about 35 pounds since I stopped due to other health ailments.

What happens at 40? Joints can't handle it?

Diomedes

I'd like to smoke a joint and drink a 40.  Instead, I'm watching this baby scoot around the floor from power cord to power cord, like its some kind of farging game for me to keep him from killing himself.

It is a game. And no matter what happens, you lose.

If I were matty, I'd embed a video of his red screaming face right now in support of this dire truth.

Is that every day or do you skip training days?
