not at all...avant is a pros pro and super valuable...i wasnt comapring the two and trying to say i like gibson better or anything just that they arent exactly alike other than both having nice size and lacking top end speed...which you could say about 100 wr's

Boldin lacks top end speed. Gibson was a yac wr, he was a beast before his senior year. I'll be surprised if he makes the team, when you already have

Gibson is a prime candidate to have an injury pop up that magically 6puts him on IR. If one of the top 5 guys goes down with an injury in camp or the pre-season, a door is opened. I don't see them carrying more than 5, though.

Either way, Gibson has a much better chance of making the team than I initially thought. I would actually put his odds higher than Reggie's to be on the opening day roster.

gibson is a shot at upgrading basketts position imo...and if he can adequetely learn the offense it wouldnt suprise me at all if he made the team at the expense of hanky poo
