Shady rushes for a measly 74 yards and a 3.5 yard avg.

74 x 16 = 1184

I'm looking more at a 3.5 yd. avg. And with the way offensive lineman are dropping like flies on this team it doesn't look to get any better.

"a measly 74 yards" says you arent

Whatever. The line looks like it could be a problem and the reason he might not come close to last years numbers.

SD

Been hearing he has turf toe. He's not the same player this season. It's easy enough to put the blame on the O line or say Defenses are stacking the box because both are true, but he's lost a step.

PhillyPhreak54

I buy the turf toe thing

He's not able to turn the corner and is having his angles cut down by LBs

if he has a turf toe and he might then he should at a minimum be on the injury report every week and at most sit a game or two....I don't wanna hear turf toe shtein after he stinks for five games

weak excuses

Chip isn't exactly forthcoming with injuries as evidenced by him never giving any updates.

He hurt his toe at the end of the pre-season...so it could be lingering from that. So you have already heard about it

You're right. This injury is totally bullshtein. The vague injury theory you've been throwing around is much more plausible.

The man. The myth. The legend.

chip doesn't have too...but there are huge fines for falsifying the weekly injury report

if hes hurt and im pretty sure he isnt then chip should be fired for negligence for putting a guy out there for five straight weeks who cant play

What?

Athletes are renowned for playing through pain and turf toe, while it can be bad, can be played through. Hockey players play through much worse...

But if it is enough to hobble him just a bit that would lessen his explosiveness...something you've wondered about, right?

So where does the blame lie? Whose fault is it that he's not running well? You have already pretty much absolved the OL of any wrongdoing...

ice grillin you

turf toe is not something you can play thru....rest is the number one treatment...no coach in his right mind would try to have a rb play thru a turf toe

the main culprit is that his body is torn down from all the touches last year...even when he gets holes he doesn't go thru them with the burst he had last year....hes getting run down by linebackers on the edge....ect...

I don't recall him looking sluggish in the pre-season...but he had that toe injury late and hes been slower since
