Bad tippers and bigots. That's it. That's my list.

You forgot fatties, smokers, and vegans.

Vegans are all bigots, fatties and smokers are bad tippers.

to be fair its entirely possible his boy left the tip...id imagine shady doesnt even touch his credit cards
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

youre also not a complete moron like shady is. this isnt the first example of him being brain dead.

bowen tweeted that they had a problem with the service, hence the bad tip.

i watched the game with the same collection of idiots i always do and some of them tip like dicks.  it's embarrassing and like igy i make sure to make up the difference but it's really getting old.  at the beginning of every season i give them a lecture about tipping the goddamn waitress, but in the end it's usually me dropping 40% because i'm a sucker.

Rome

btw... i've tipped people like 10% before because they were awful, but leaving 20 cents is just being a farging dickface.  he should be ashamed if that's his response to people who work for a living.

i will still tip terrible service 20%...maybe he or she had a bad day...maybe it was the kitchens fault...or maybe shtein happens sometimes

if a place continually delivers bad service i just stop going...but a one time bad visit im giving the benefit of the doubt to the server

Come on Shady leave some change behind
She was a bitch but I don't care
She brought our food out on time
And wore a funky barrette in her hair

Come on Shady leave some change behind
She was a bitch but good enough
To leave some change everybody's good
Enough for some change

(More than twenty cents, though. You shteinbag. I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. I still love you, you cheap bastich.)

I do have a deep seeded and borderline embarrassing bias against all fat people. Truth.

Smokers and vegans I've got nothing against. I smoked for years. Probably still would if not for extenuating circumstances. Vegans are just misguided hippy douches and they're usually more tolerable than misguided conservative douches so I'll count that as a win. Plus, more meat for me.

I also go with the permanent 20%. It's easy to calculate and keeps the servers from thinking I'm a cheap icehole. No one ever gets a 5% tip and thinks "I treated those people so badly, I deserved this." They just think you are a cheap icehole. If you have a real problem, see the manager, use a comment card, call a hotline or just go to a nicer establishment next time. If it's about the money for you, maybe you are a cheap icehole.

I hate tipping culture, especially in non-restaurant situations. It's often socially awkward, sometimes you end up in situations where it's unclear if/how much you should tip, you gotta have the right change on you.... basically it sucks. It feels like a system that evolved out of dirty old men slipping $20s into waitresses' pockets and winking at them. I prefer the system overseas where tipping isn't really a thing. Although I admit that in those countries you more often get service workers who are ruder, slower, and basically care less about doing a good job.

They're paid a living wage and don't have to worry about not having rent money because some guy had a spotty fork, so they don't bother faking it.

I generally go 20%, rounded up to the next dollar.  I'll go 25% for exceptional service.  Very rarely will I go below, and that has to be for extremely rude or shoddy service.  Even then I'll go 15%.

They're trying to make a living.  If I can afford to eat there, I can afford the tip.

the difference btwn a 20% tip and a 10% tip on an average dinner for two is most times gonna be less than five bucks....if that makes a difference to you then you probably shouldn't be eating out to begin with
