Had a little bit of a rough year.  Nothing major, just too much shtein going on all at the same time.  Corps blocked the site at work, almost 6mo with no internets at home.  Blah blah blah.

Phils are champs.  Eagles are chumps.  Farg you all.

You should probably go away again. Or better yet, teach me how.

Also, you'll want to familiarize yourself with reese. He's all grownsed up!
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Sgt PSN

I'd rather not familiarize myself with any of yous.  But it's probably unavoidable at this point.

rjs246

Are you saying that you want to make out with me?

Freak.

I was just thinking to myself, I said, "Self, we don't have enough sass around here. We need good ol' Sgt Sassy back." And then I started singing the Chilli's baby back ribs song, so I said to myself, "Self, we need some ribs."

The man. The myth. The legend.

Nice.  Bummer.  Thanks.

Ok, so here's a brief recap of the last 7 or 8 months or however long it's been since I last posted.

Left KC in August, headed to Lancaster, CA.
Had costly vehicle issues.
Supported my g/f for 3 months while she looked for job in jobless market.
Watched Phillies win WS in a small bar 7000ft up on the side of a mountain in Bridgeport, CA surrounded by Dodgers fans.
Didn't get reimbursed by gov't for moving expenses for 5 months.
Live in a meth infested town.
Was standing at a Wal Mart collecting toys for Toys for Tots and saw 2 wannabe thugs start fighting about 10ft in front of me, kicked both of their asses and restrained them until security and the cops could arrive.  Wal Mart did not formally thank me.
Watched Eagles choke away NFCCG.  Again.
Became an "official ambassador" for Maker's Mark.
Travel alot for work.
Deploying in 12 months, Iraq or Horn of Africa most likely.

SEMPER FI: ONE MARINE'S JOURNEY,

A COMPELLING DOCUMENTARY SHOWCASING A GAY MARINE'S

UNIQUE STORY OF PATRIOTISM AND REDEMPTION

PREMIERES JUNE 25th ON SHOWTIME

LOS ANGELES (May 8, 2007) - SEMPER FI:  One Marine's Journey, a new SHOWTIME feature-length documentary detailing a U.S. Marine's journey through military life and the war in Iraq as a gay man told through his compelling one-man stage play, will make its world television premiere on Friday, June 25 at 8:30 PM ET/PT.

SEMPER FI:  One Marine's Journey tells the story of Jeff Key, who at thirty-four years old and gay, joined the Marines to fulfill his life long dream.  After 9/11, Key was sent to the Iraq war, despite the fact that he could have dodged his deployment by revealing his sexual orientation to his superiors.  Having returned home with shattered ideals and broken hearted by what he had witnessed, Key turned his experiences into a riveting one-man play. SEMPER FI, through its powerful juxtaposition of interviews, voiceovers, Jeff's personal footage from Iraq and scenes from his play, showcases his journey revealing the power and dignity of what it means to be a gay American at war.

SEMPER FI:  One Marine's Journey is directed by Academy Award®-nominated and Emmy Award® winner Vince DiPersio.  Over the course of his career, DiPersio has directed award-winning documentaries for HBO, CBS, Turner Television, Frontline, ABC, and Showtime.  Eda Godel Hallinan, a two-time Emmy® and Humanitas Award-winning producer, serves as the Executive Producer for the documentary.

Ghey Marines can still beat up squids.  There's just a lot more groping during the process.

BTW.....spent 3 weeks in February down on North Island supporting border patrol.  Coronado is the bomb.

SD_Eagle5

Coronado is unreal...did you visit the USS Ronald Reagan? I hope it sinks.
