Start off hot after a loss to Panthers in the opener. McNabb puts up huge numbers, then defenses get smart, McNabb hits the wall with no running game. Disaster mid season puts McNabb close to the bench again, but the strategic mind of Reid comes to the rescue once again with a commitment to the run. Birds sneak into playoffs again next year only to revert to the pass and lose horribly in the wild card game. Reid is praised for mid-season turn around and gains another year pass. McNabb gets trashed again. More bitching and moaning from fans, nothing changes. Even less hope and desire for next year. GO PHILLIES
