To play devils advocate:
I'm a consultant and if I disagree with something, its my job to make sure things get done right.  But behind closed doors.

Now, lets say I disagreed with something and publicly blasted my company, you could bet your arse I'd get fired.






However, I don't think a gate cheif should be fired for venting his frustrations on face book.  As much as the eagles may play the "Hes a face of the organization" card, in reality, he just works the gates. Hes a seasonal employee who, like most seasonal employees, are fans.


The only question I have is, did he represent himself as a member of the eagles organization on his facebook page?  If he did, then the eagles have a case, cold as it is.

if the guy was writing faux libelous memos on company letter head to stockholders or some shtein like that i could see...shtein if the guy was spamming the internets with talk about joe banners mama i could see firing him...but firing a guy because he disagreed with letting dawkins go is beyond ridiculous...and it has nothing to do with talking bad about your employer...its has to do with dawkins...if he had posted this about buckhalter hed still be working for the team...so add disingenious to classless and cowardly

that would be incredible...from spadaro losing his mind on the emb and radio all last week...to the front office having not yet spoken publically (eskin show doesnt count) on it...to firing this guy it is clear as day how they unbelievably underestimated the negative repsonse this would get from the city...if this guy could be made into some sort of city wide folk hero it might cause banner to take his own life

are there some companies that would...sure there is...are companies legally allowed to fire you...of course....(this is the defense the team will make if this blows up)...doesnt mean they arent gaping iceholes tho
