he is an nfl wr...granted not a good one...but hes a professional and new england loves those types of guys...dont be surprised to see him have a career year in 09...and for giving up a zesty wr the eagles move from a 7th to a 5th...its really not a deal that anyone should get excited about either way but if you had to classify it as anything it would be a minor plus for both sides

I'm excited. After his punt returning fiasco, he needed to be cut. Sure you can blame Reid for putting a player that has no place back there in that position, but I blame Lewis for being a dumbass

Probably mentioned somewhere in the f/a thread where this was orginally posted but I'm 90% sure he was going to be released so salvaging another 5th for this season was a good move by the f/o. Not only that it opens up a spot for a younger guy. The Eagles are really going all out getting rid of their aging veterans.
