Peter King thinks (I know, I know) that Dallas boy will take over as position coach while our in-house boy will be the new D-coordinator. I dunno if that was obvious to everyone else, but it makes better sense to me. Dallas dude failed at d-coord, but seemed to be a fairly successful, or at least long-employed, position coach.

i guess im a little suprised because jj was a coach as opposed to a player or a fan...and a guy thats been there with andy from day one

i don't see anything wrong with it and i'm sure it will be kept pretty low key. they needed to make a permanent change and they did. i wouldn't be surprised if they opt not to take any questions after the official announcement.
