I heard another conversation earlier today. It was refreshing.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Father Demon

Hey, let's put the Cutler talk in at least three more threads today!

Why limit the scope Demon, let's go ahead and indulge vigy's pathological obsession for arguing ad infinitum in every thread!

Schlereth was on Mike & Mike and he said he expects Cutler to be dealt to Washington by tomorrow.

PoopyfaceMcGee

I think IGY guessed all along that he would be and wanted to make sure to get on Cutler's jock from the get go.

So let me get this straight: it's not Cutler's fault his team can't score over 30 points, it's the defenses fault for giving up that many. But in the case of McNabb, it's his fault because the offense only scored 25 pts. while the defense gave up over 30?

cutler wasnt given the ball with two minutes left to win a huge game...big difference btwn having to score 24 pts and having to score 44

the only people saying anything about cutlers last three games are the people trying to say he choked so that they can make mcnabb look better because there is no defense for mcnabbs choking over the last 10 years...

to be honest im not really sure what cutlers last three games have to do with anything

ice grillin you

anyone that wouldnt be on the jock of getting cutler the minute his name surfaced as being availabe is either the biggest homer of all time or doesnt know football

when you take all factors into consideration (skills - age - potential - performance ect...) im not sure there is a qb in the nfl i would take over cutler right now

matt ryan or phillip rivers?...thats about the list

to say youd rather have mcnabb over cutler is spadaro type talk

i'm a mcnabb guy, but i'll admit that he has come up short in some big games.  but i still love the guy.  my argument isn't because i'm pro-mcnabb, it's strictly based on being anti-cutler.

i don't know how much you've seen of him outside of the highlights on espn, but while i was living in kc, i got to see quite a bit of him since they are division rivals.  not to mention that since i have the sunday ticket and don't go to nearly as many games during the year as you do, i spend my sundays watching a lot of football besides the eagles and i've seen quite a bit of cutler in action.  do i think he's a scrub?  no.  not at all.  he can play.  but he's farged in the head and struggles with consistancy and decision making not to mention that his ego is softer than a roll of wet toilet paper.

he's making a stink about the way that the denver broncos have treated him.....one of the teams most highly regarded for the way that they treat their players.  how do you really think he would hold up working for one of the coldest, most shrewed and least loyal front offices in the nfl?  not to mention dealing with the philly media, fans and pressure that goes along with it.  he'd crash and burn like his name was corey lidle.

i can sum cutler up for you in 2 words:  jeff george.  so if you can honestly say that you'd take a 25 yr old jeff george on this team, then i guess cutler is your guy.  but if not, then you might want to rethink your position.

ice grillin you

ive seen him plenty enough to know hes got awesome talent...my girl is a huge denver fan so i see more of them than any team not named the eagles...his shtein jumps off the screen at you...he can move has sick arm strength and is accurate

not sure where you get the incosnistent from...he way more consistent than mcnabb...christ it doesnt get more jekyll and hide than mcnabb...his lows are so low he got benched last year...is cutler tom brady of course not but hes more consistent than most and should only get better since hes three or four years away from his prime

he could be a nut case for all i know but i havent seen it...unless clashing with a new coach counts as that...how do we know mcdaniel isnt a lunatic...if mcdanieal was available as a coach i could argue that i wouldnt want him because look what he did to cutler when went to denver...it goes both ways

i would need to see a lot more proof that cutler is a head case before it cancelled out his talent as a qb

Sgt PSN

he's got loads of coin and does nothing about that mud flap under his chin.  you'd have to be nuts to keep that thing, right?

also, it's kind of fitting that the cutler talk is picking up in this thread, since this is igy's real favorite team.  ;)
