New England got a 5th for Donte Stallworth?

Talk about a hit and run deal.

QB Eagles

So the NFL is changing the rules (in 2010) so that the draft pick order of playoff teams is dependent on how those teams do in the playoffs.

Easy won't be able to figure out the draft order in November anymore.

You're only saying that because you laughed and are now ashamed of yourself.

D- at best. If we awarded draft picks for jokes, that would get a 6th.

QuoteBills' Peters could hold interest for Eagles

DANA POINT, Calif. - Buffalo Bills coach Dick Jauron acknowledged his concern yesterday about Jason Peters' well-documented contract dispute.

"Yeah, we" worry, Jauron said during the AFC coaches' media breakfast at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort. "We're into our off-season training program and we're anticipating that he'll be around for the mandatory parts of it . . . but, yeah, you worry about a lot of things, and that's another thing to worry about."

That concern could lead to the Eagles' trying to make a deal with Buffalo for Peters, a left tackle who has been to the Pro Bowl the last two seasons.

Last year, Peters boycotted the Bills' off-season camps, including the mandatory one, and training camp. It's a situation the Bills probably would be reluctant to go through again.

Peters, according to reports in the Buffalo News, wants to be the highest-paid left tackle in the NFL, a title that belongs to Carolina's Jordan Gross, who signed a six-year, $60 million deal shortly before the start of free agency last month.

So would the Bills trade Peters if he repeated last year's holdout act?

"I don't know about that," Jauron said. "He's an awfully good player at left tackle. He was voted to the Pro Bowl the last two years and he's a very unique player, a very unique athlete. He's a giant man."

Peters, 6-foot-4 and 340 pounds, played tight end at Arkansas.

Sounds interesting, but like Jauron is trying to sell him. I wouldn't get my hopes up too high. He's signed through 2010 and Rotoworld says they are about $3 million part in negotiations. He also had a bad year last season, giving up the most sacks of any LT (11.5 in only 13 games) and missed 3 games from injury after holding out for training camp. Some say huge upside but played badly because of discontent, missing TC etc. and played at a true PB level the year before.

So, how much to give up for him if he's available? I'd give a 2 + 5 and a good contract heavy with incentives.

where is he bitching about his contract in that article...it only references him bitching last year and presumes he will again this year

in other words nothing changed in his situation in the last 12 months

Percy Harvin was probably the only WR to have the best shot to go in the 1st rd

I hope that was that best bong hit of his life
