Letting the best player you have at a certain position go with no clear contingency plan to replace him with equal or better play for the upcoming year is far from reasonable.

THey've done that a bunch in the past, the reason why it sucks so much now is because this player happens to be a pillar of the franchise and the most popular Eagle of the last 15 years. He also probably had a year or two left in the tank.

just saw that on NFL Live.  Loved when Dilfer shut his ass down by saying DMac isn't going anywhere.  Said most teams are moving forward and where the hell is he going at this point?  If something's going to happen it's got to happen now.
