Am I the only one that is completely unexcited about the idea of the Eagles signing Houshmandzadeh?

I'm almost indifferent about it, though I think he could help.  There are no free agents this year that I would get excited about if the Eagles signed.

I'd actually be happier if they came away from the 1st round with Moreno and Pettigrew than I would over anyone they could sign during FA.

except for the duce like chants that would come from it i feel the sme way about houshmandzadeh...i just dont care either way...however i would be very very happy with a brown or andrews signing

I hope their needs at RB/TE are too obvious for even them to ignore this year.

Signing Brown and Andrews would free up the draft options significantly. Isn't Stacey related to Shawn?

So would I if for no other reason then it would present a greater opportunity to draft RB/TE with their first round picks.

he makes the tough catches, the ones the reggie couldn't make...you have your homerun hitter in jackson...you need someone to work the underside and make the first down catches that sustain drives.

32 is the number that concerns me...receivers age so damn fast...if youre gonna get one in their 30's it better be a dominant TO type guy who is going to elevate you to championship status asap

Exactly. It's probably not fair to judge any Bengals WR based on the abortion that was the rest of their offense last year, but unless it's Jerry Rice at 32 I'm not going to get excited.

nope, never thought he was anything special. He's a possession receiver with moderate big play ability. He's basically Avant but is a little better at YAC. That being said I'd be happy because he would be an upgrade, keeps himself in very good condition, and we all know the Eagles will carry over $15 million next season so why let that money go to waste.

Whoever mentioned Stacy Andrews agreed, his presence might even help his looney brother plus he's a good player.
