He knows how to lay into someone with his shoulder while his arms are pinned to his sides, that's for sure.

it's not a given that he'd be good, but it might be worth a try if the Eagles are deep at corner.  I guarantee he'd be better than Considine and probably Demps too

that's probably not good enough for you

I'd feel good about sheldon in run support.  he can hit, that's for sure.

its not so much that i think he wouldnt be a good safety...i really dont know how hed do...but i KNOW hes a good corner...and i know cornerback is a much more important and difficult position to play than safety...i also think its almost impossible to be to deep at cornerback in the nfl

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

theres always this talk about Sheldon moving to safety.

No dis to the posters here, but was this ever seriously discussed by anyone other than wishful thinkers on message boards?

If it were to happen I would definitely support it. I think Sheldon is smart and very good at his positioning on the field, but his catch up speed and his ability to jump the ball is very suspect. We have all seen him get burnt way too many times to the taller, faster receivers...that said get Nnamdi Asomugha quick

Let's not all get so excited about TJ coming here. He said this on a Chicago station:

As for whether the Bears are in the running, Houshmandzadeh replied: "I don't know. You know what's funny, man? Y'all are probably going to laugh at me when I tell you this: I kind of like Rex Grossman."

Wow - a player that knows how to market himself and get top dollar as a free agent... Weird.

yeah you have lito why would ever get/need bodden

i also dont really understand the obsession of moving sheldon to safety...hes an excellent corner better than bodden and why is it a given hed even be good at safety

When IGY gets a hit, it's a home run.

IGY is the Adam Dunn of :CF.

Wow - that's A LOT of strikeouts. Not quite record setting Ryan Howard style, but still a shtein-ton

Lito's gone, don't you think?

Not an obsession to move Brown, it's one possible solution to having a good backfield if a CB is easier to get than a safety. The idea is to try and get 3 strong corners for all the nickel and dime situations. Would have been nice against the Cardinals having Sheldon at FS with 2 good corners behind him. BTW, Jim Johnson said Sheldon could play well at safety, and that was last year so it wasn't just the cancer talking.

i agree litos gone but why would you get rid of him if you feel you need a cb....just pay lito and have him be that corner

Step 1. Package up Lito, Reid and McNabb.
Step 2. Launch the package into the sun.
Step 3. ??
Step 4. Profit.

Lito was worth what a 3rd or 4rth round pick before the season? How much now? Another case of the Eagles out thinking themselves.
