Well, that doesn't bode well.

jesus if the eagles like the guy just "overpay" for him...christ hes a fullback how much money could he possibly want

I don't know what the hell is going on, they have all this money and for what...to make moves in the draft? farg that they better trade some drafts picks for some proven vets. I'm sick of them bringing in scrubs and project players. If they are relying on the draft as it seems to be then they better get some quality guys this year. That being said, I have zero confidence in who they pick. Another shtein year to look forward too. Billionaires don't know how to run football teams and neither do Mormons.

i really dont care if all their effort is now put towards the draft and possible trades...the FA market is dead now...my point it they are bringing in scrubs who are not in high demand if in demand at all around the league and they are still penny pinching them

Exactly.  The guy is a farging FB.  Overpaying for that position would be offering the guy something like $500,000.  Just spend some farging money and (I know it's crazy) get an actual fullback to play fullback.

Pretty much. Pay his ass, get a real FB and be done with it.

Braman has more money than Lurie?  He should buy the team back!  Toats!

P.S.  The value of the team itself is basically all of Lurie's net worth, so it is exactly as I said before... He may not exactly be dripping in it with liquid cash.  Is he cash POOR?  farg no.  But a $10 million dollar signing bonus is a lot to pay for a guy that has about $60 million outside of the team's value itself.

In short, if he doesn't sell off part of the team or take a loan out on it, he's not exactly FLUSH with cash to throw at every free agent.

Andy Reid and crew no damn well they would use Weaver extensively in the passing game because big boy loves to pass out in the flat to fullbacks.

so in one sense its understandable that youre not going to pay him Derrick Ward dollars, but at least come to terms that you wasted a 4th round pick on a supposed to be RB in lorenzo friggin booker who does NOTHING, so you cant raise the ante on a guy that will actually be used and you desperately need him?

smart

There are two sides to every negotiation.  If the Eagles sign him, that means they likely offered more than any of the other 31 teams did.

And in other news, she died today after the shock of seeing Lurie was a billionaire and didn't pay extra to re-sign Dawkins.

I just saw that on philly.com.

Maybe it was the shock that G Lew is finally gone.

First off IGY-you got balls correcting anyones spelling errors since you write like Pacman Jones speaks

and the second point is not really that tough--I was merely making the point that the guy is looking for running back dollars...so you and Potsie can try once again to 1-up me if you'd like
