QuoteTERRY GLENN GETS BUSTED
Posted by Mike Florio on February 5, 2009, 10:11 a.m.
With his football career already in shambles due to a bad knee, receiver Terry Glenn likely has seen any chance of playing pro football disappear, due to a recent arrest on multiple charges.

Glenn was arrested last week on charges of public intoxication and marijuana possession (it's not known whether he had a "turkey bag" at the time).

The incident arose after police were called to an Irving, Texas hotel, apparently after receiving reports that Glenn had been roaming the halls of the establishment naked.

We hope Joe Cullen has a good alibi.

It's Glenn's third arrest. In 2005 (and we're not sure how we missed this one), Glenn was popped for public intoxication after officers caught him urinating behind the dumpster at a fast-food restaurant.

After being released by the Cowboys before training camp, Glenn was out of football in 2008.

no one says turkey bag.  florio must have hopped on urban dictionary quick before he wrote that.

I don't even know what that is supposed to mean, turkey bag.

Some help here please.

The work filter prevents me from checking out the Urban Dictionary, but what little I can see from the google results, a turkey bag is " A bag used to store weed. It keeps the sweet smell of maryjane inside the plastic"

Aside from the headline this was my favorite part:

Let them eat bootstraps.

SunMo

was it the horrible grammar, capitalization of standout, or the fact that this joke has been made about 3 times already?
