I do worry about Rocca in this one, good point. He punted horribly in windy conditions this year. He has to be on point because this should be a field position game.

And we know that Pimp will be pretty much neutralized by Feagles' directional punting. I think he still burns from kicking it to Westbrook in 2003; since then he pretty much punts everything out of bounds.

even tho sav struggles in the elements id still rather have it windy sunday as eli is horrible in the wind and you might see a few ducks picked off if thats the case and even if not it certainly limits him greatly

abiamiri and andrews cleared to practice

I agree with that. Eli struggled in the wind last time.

The weather shows a high of 33, sunny and a 10mph wind though.

I'll do something I rarely do and say that one thing and one thing only will determine the outcome of this game.

Time of possession. GUARANTEED.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Damn, I thought for sure you were gonna go with points.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Kobe is also a fan of rape. I have nothing to contribute.

Normally Mongo's tailgate prices are ridiculous and kinda piss me off, but his deal for this weekend isn't that bad.  $319 for roundtrip bus, tailgate, and game tickets.  Not that bad considering parking is horrible and its a playoff game.

ice grillin you

yeah but you have to hang out with mongo

Injured players Shawn Andrews and Victor Abiamiri were medically cleared to practice Wednesday.

Andrews, a two-time Pro Bowl guard, has been cleared by his doctors and will practice Wednesday for the first time since sustaining a back injury in Week 2 at Dallas. But, as head coach Andy Reid noted, Andrews will not be active for Sunday's divisional playoff game against the Giants.

"We're not going to force anything there or do anything ridiculous," Reid said. "We'll gradually work him in and see how he feels. We'll see what he can do day-to-day."

Andrews underwent surgery on Oct. 21 to correct a herniated disc in his back. Reid said that while Andrews is in great cardio shape, he hasn't lifted or played football in quite some time.

I blew out a disc and had back surgery a couple of years ago, it's no joke.  Good thing he's not going to try to rush back from it.
Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad.

nice little pump you up article

http://www.delcotimes.com/articles/2009/01/07/sports/doc496439b7e9902422111887.txt

"The Giants were 10-1 and averaging a league-leading 31.6 points when Burress shot himself in the thigh and was suspended for the rest of the season. They're 2-3 and have averaged 18.5 points without him.

The Giants could have used another game to get the offense back in sync. It doesn't seem like a good time to play an Eagles defense that's hitting its stride.

Johnson tweaked the defense during a three-game skid, starting Akeem Jordan at weakside linebacker instead of Omar Gaither. Jordan hasn't put up Pro Bowl numbers, but his penetration and dirty work has enabled teammates to get the glory.

Johnson also got a little help from head coach Andy Reid and coordinator Marty Mornhinweg, who simplified the offense. Instead of a down-the-field attack, the Eagles have played with more of a dink-and-dunk, time-of-possession philosophy the past six games.

Jordan cracked the starting lineup in the final game of a three-game skid. The Eagles were leaking oil badly, having allowed an average of 28.3 points during that 0-2-1 disaster. The defense had collected three turnovers in the three games while the offense turned the ball over 11 times, including eight interceptions.

They've allowed 12.3 points per game in winning five of their past six games, including the playoff success over the Vikings.

The Eagles have forced 13 turnovers and scored three defensive touchdowns the last six games. The offense has averaged 28.5 points in that time."
