I agree. Is it 10 minutes between 1st round picks? Then when will the first round end, almost 1 am? At least the next night is on a weekend but it's still too late.

This is just horrific, I was listening to NFL radio this afternoon and they were saying it is a good thing. A guy called in and was talking about how he won't be able to have his afternoon cookouts and they kind of just laughed him off. It would be one thing to have it Friday night, but Thursday? Really?

I didn't think there was any way to really screw up the whole year-long NFL experience, but I was wrong. Can't wait to see them finally go ahead with the plan take the last two preseason games and make them regular season games. Meaningful football in August is gonna be awesome!

i never really watched the draft as it was but this is obviously a $ move.

When I was a teenager draft day was like waking up on Christmas. You'd flip on ESPN and there'd be a bunch of rumors. Draft would start early and was a great waste of a day. Now this shtein is depressing. It's like someone killed Santa then told you Christmas was going to start on the 22nd after dinner.

Vick says he's getting close to signing with a pro team. Wouldn't elaborate but might not be NFL.

The UFL is a perfect fit for him this season. I wouldn't even try the NFL this season if I were him. He has to rebuild his rep, both on and off the field.
