If they can get Randy Moss to toe the line they can get Mr. Alpo on the straight and narrow.

Rumor is Beanie Wells shredded his ankle about an hour after his contract was done.
"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.""  R.I.P George.

Derrick Mason = done

Undone

Quote"It was a tough decision, but I think it was a good decision for me to come back," Mason said in a statement. "I needed to evaluate my life, football and my career.

"I still have an intense fire inside me, and I want to play. ... I felt like I had left something undone, and I wanted to finish it. I believe this is a good example for my son and my daughter on how to be thoughtful and also follow through."

Shredded? Articles I've read say he got up and walked off and had a precautionary MRI.

Per Rotoworld: Pats scooped Derrick Burgess for a 3rd and a 5th in 2011. The Eagles offered a 3rd and a player..and once again lost a bidding war

Doubtful he lasts all season, but I think Burgess would of been key with Cole

Good news for Tomahawk:

QuoteFalcons bring in Marty Booker
Posted by Mike Florio on August 6, 2009 8:12 PM ET
On the same day that the Falcons signed veteran wideout Robert Ferguson, who caught three passes in 2008, they added a guy who caught a few more passes last season.

Um, eleven more.

Marty Booker appeared in 13 games for the Bears, catching 14 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns.

And he's now a Falcon.

Roddy White likely is unfazed.

The team also placed receiver Harry Douglas on injured reserve.  The Falcons also cut waived rookie Brandon Godfrey.
