Well, for all Dmacs bad passes, very rarely does he throw into that kind of coverage. At best he holds the ball too long and has to scramble.

I don't understand how a team can prepare for months to play its first football game, only to emerge from the locker room looking like dead men walking.

Bulger cares. He's just battered. But the postgame scene in the Rams locker room was disturbing. There was chatter, shrugs, even some laughter. I saw little to suggest that this team was disgusted or even bothered by a 35-point whipping. I've been covering NFL games since 1982, and I've never seen such a carefree locker room in the aftermath of such a humiliating defeat.

McNabb reclaims record

After 33 pass attempts against the Rams Sunday without an interception, Donovan McNabb reclaimed the NFL career record for best interception ratio from Neil O'Donnell.

When the game began, O'Donnell owned the record on just 2.106 percent of his career passes (68 interceptions in 3,229 attempts) and McNabb was second at 2.117 (79 interceptions in 3,732 attempts).

McNabb's 33 passes on Sunday gave him 79 INTs in 3,765 attempts and dropped his career percentage down to an interception on 2.099 percent of his career attempts, just below O'Donnell.

McNabb briefly took the mark away from O'Donnell last year before falling back behind the former Steeler, Jet, Bengal and Titan.

Nobody else is close to McNabb or O'Donnell. Mark Brunell ranks third at 2.307 percent, followed by former Eagle Jeff Garcia (2.335) and Tom Brady (2.354).

Let's hope he doesn't give that shtein back again Monday night...

Thats a hell of a stat. It's a shame he usually waited until the Superbowl or NFC Championship to throw his int's.
