That's Bucs/Saints, but here's the correct one.

I had a house full of Rams fans and I enjoyed torturing them. DJ looks like the real deal and McNabb was unreal but I have to check myself a little. The Rams D was as horrid as the Eagles were good.

QuoteIt was the first time the Eagles had three 100-yard receivers since Timmy Brown, Tommy McDonald and Pete Retzlaff did it against the Washington taterskins on Dec. 18, 1960.

Also mentioned in the AP article:

- Calvin Williams was the last rookie receiver to start Week 1
- Torry Holt was held to one catch

Overall all the Eagles were just "on" in every aspect of the game.

Samuel was on him all day.  I guess he can maybe play a little man-to-man.

Aside from Deion I don't know that I've ever seen a corner who can break on a ball as fast as Samuel. He should have had 3 picks today.

Klecko was a pleasant surprise at DT. I thought Laws looked good. Howard had a nice game too.

Howard was a frigging beast today.

More stats from CSN:

-- most offense on opening day in team history
-- most offense by any NFL team on opening day since 1999
-- Steven Jackson's 40 yds rushing (with 10+ carries) was the lowest total since 2005

Hey, the Birds played well, especially McNabb.  But they played a JV today.  Linehan shouldn't survive the season as coach.  Whoop Dallas' ass, and I'll be convinced.
Anyone but Reid.

I didn't get to see the game, but from what I heard (listened to Merrill and Mike most of the first half) and have seen of the highlights, I think the best news is how well McNabb is playing.  It sounds like he was hitting some timing routes, throwing the ball before the receiver was open.  This is something that I think has been his weakness, and really hurts the effectiveness of the WCO.

Oh, and there isn't much doubt that Jackson is the real deal.  I can't wait for McNabb & Jackson to get their timing down...it has the potential to be just sick.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.
