yeah unless kolb is brady esque i can not imagine much better results in the kolb era. still mediocre WRs and crappy playcalling.

It is incumbent upon the FO to get the man the talent to win a Super Bowl. I like Jeff Lurie, but when he said "we're going for it" I gagged.

im far from a front office defender but yous are acting like mcnabb hasnt been to a bunch of conf champiomships and a superbowl and pretty much failed in all of them

could he and should he have had more help sure...but he hasnt exactly stepped up and made the plays it takes to win a title

he is clearly good enough to win a sb...the question is is he capable of leading a team to a championship

I'm not saying McNabb's free from fault along the way... clearly, he's f'ed up too.  Choking, throwing up... whatever you want to call it, but the help he's had for the vast majority of his career hasn't left him with a lot of room for error.  Just about every playoff win... McNabb has been very good, every playoff loss... McNabb's been bad.  Who has ever stepped up and helped this team win when McNabb didn't have a great game, similar to when Peyton Manning didn't have a great game in the Super Bowl?

Either way... I don't understand how someone can be ready for McNabb to go at this point, especially considering what we've seen (or haven't seen) from Kolb.

he really just talked about learning from Jared Allen and Aaron Kampman in the probowl.   Donovan is on now, just talking about TO, nothing big, How he's preparing Kolb for the future.

Kolb will never be the "future" of the Eagles like McNabb was. The guy is mediocre at best. It frightens me to death that the FO actually has him labeled that. Anyone wanting season tickets just has to wait for the day McNabb isn't here and that guy is our starter.

I see not a single damn thing about him that leads me to believe that he's anything more than a backup or even a clipboard holder.
