why....hes just insurance in case jason davis doesnt perform well in camp...if davis proves to be up to the task of being the fb then klecko is gone imo...will he make the team possibly but how can you not see him getting cut

He was good enough for three super bowl teams...sure he got cut but he's at a position where that happens.  Do you really think Jason Davis is gonna be better than him?

I don't see it and I hope he works out.  I like him.

In the bizarro world Reid lives in he's a good parent and Jason Davis is a starting caliber NFL fullback.  That's why they signed a farging DT and are trying to shoehorn him in to a new position.

They'll bluster about "competition" and all that shtein but if push comes to shove, Davis will be the new fullback.  It's how this crew operates.

yeah i do think jason davis will be better than him and i think the team expects that as well...but they also dont wanna go into camp with just jason davis competing at full back...the fact that they signed some weird hybrid fullback and not a real fullback tells me they have confidence in davis

this kind of reminds me of sav rocca last year vs dirk

except instead of a aussie rules punter trying to convert to nfl you have a defensive lineman trying to convert to a full time fullback...could he win the job sure...sav did...but i think its definitely far from certain

I am with Dio on this, I like the signing in that the dude is just a football player.  To me though he would be better served as a situational type player and a solider special teams guy.  I don't like the fact they are trying to make him strictly a fullback.
