i mean its the best job ive ever had...but i wouldnt say its fun...i have never once in seven years woke up and didnt wanna go to work...cant really ask for much more than that in a job...

benefits are insane....i am currently trying to figure how to take seven days of use or lose before the end of the year and i have another 240 hrs of leave on top of that....i get every other monday off and four day weekends every holiday that falls on a mon or fri....and the pay is insane for the low amount of work and more importantly the completely stress free job

Damn...i'm jealous. I wish I would have known about that before taking this gig down here. The pay is great but time off is hard to come by. And its stressful trying to hit numbers every month in this economy.

I'm a little embarrassed to report that I have started the process of studying for the LSATs with the single-minded purpose of working for the government. This plan dictates that I am going to spend well in excess of $100,000 and lose three+ years of gainful employment to earn less than I could in private practice but get lots of days off and benefits. Priorities.

Good luck with that, I'm gonna work for the VA. I filled out an application for some summer internship night job and they've called me twice since to offer me other positions. When all is said and done I'll be starting out as a GS 7 and working my way up from there. Most likely I'll be handling veteran's disability claims. yeah me.
