Crumpler has weight problems and a knee issue. At his age combined with those problems I'll take my chances with LJ/Celek/Schoebel. If they hadn't already franchised LJ then sure he'd be a good option.

PhillyPhreak54

Sign him and LJ; keep Celek, bury Schobel alive.

In Nicaragua, it appears the New England Patriots did beat Giants in Super Bowl

February 15, 2008
MANAGUA, Nicaragua (AP) -- The New England Patriots won the Super Bowl and ended the season with a perfect 19-0 record -- at least it looks that way in Nicaragua.

The NFL donated 290 Patriots hats and an equal number of team jerseys trumpeting the slogans "Super Bowl Champions, 19-0" to impoverished children from two small communities in southern Nicaragua.

Thursday's gifts could not change history -- the Patriots lost the Feb. 3 game to the New York Giants 17-14 -- but they made a lot of youngsters in the communities of San Gregorio and Buena Vista very happy, said Miriam Diaz, spokeswoman for the humanitarian organization World Vision, which arranged the donation with the NFL.

"They (Patriots) lost, but the children won," Diaz said.

The only "football" most of the children know is soccer, but they were very enthusiastic about the U.S. version of the game once the rules were explained to them, she said.

"They were very happy to receive the hats and jerseys," Diaz said. "They said they did not expect such a surprise."

Neither did the Patriots.

I still have an Eagles World Champions tee shirt I bought after the game outside the stadium for $5. Maybe I'll start wearing it if someone comes out with evidence of the patriots cheating in that game too.

phillymic2000

Well they've been cheating since 2000, the only time they lost a sb was after they stopped cheating. I say you start wearing it.

:'( :'( :'(

It makes me so sad to know that those fargs cheated. The Eagles finally get to the SB and come within 3 points and then find out that their opponents were cheating.  :boom

Some lady's husband was paralyzed during a shooting at a Vegas strip club when Pacman Jones was there and the family wants the NFL and/or Titans to pay the medical bills.

QuoteWith a civil lawsuit filed by the Urbanski family pending, Clark County District Court Judge Jessie Walsh is due to hear arguments Wednesday on the NFL's claim that Nevada courts lack the reach to hold the league responsible in the wounding of Tommy Urbanski.

In a previous ruling, the Nevada court ruled that the Titans held no legal responsibility for Jones' actions that night. The Urbanskis are challenging that decision.

I feel bad for this dude and his family because a strip club is supposed to be a fun place to watch sluts with great boobs dance around and get you horny so you can go home and bang your ugly wife.  But these people are clearly chasing dollar signs.  How anyone could consider the Titans or the NFL liable for any of this is beyond me.  An employer's responsibility about the conduct of their employees ends the minute the clock out and leave work.

Obviously...if only employers saw it the same way regarding their employees.

i dont think the nfl is repsonsible in anyway but what makes me sad is how people are always looking for reasons not to help people in need versus doing something nice for them...would it kill a billion dollar industry to throw a few bucks towards someones medical bills to help them

and why ever talk to them at all if youre not gonna help out

then again they nickel and dime their own disabled veteran players so why would anyone expect them to help some strangers

Great, that means they won't be tagging DE Justin Smith. I'd seriously check him out.

QB Eagles

Zach Thomas seems like the kind of guy whose career will be over in two months if he signs with anyone other than the Patriots. If he signs with the Patriots he will have an All-Pro year.

No doubt. I was shocked to even see Junior Seau make it a full season, so your statement is probably on point
