The Most Unprepared For A Game EVER

Seriously...has any Eagle team in recent history, even the 1998 team, ever been this mentally unprepared and executed so poorly? That includes the coaching staff.

1. The amount of penalties; I don't know the final tally but at one point they had 85 total yards of offense and 85 penalty yards. The last count I saw was 122 penalty yards.

2. Not giving Winston Justice some type of help. Early on I say let the guy have a shot to block the guy. I mean, he's a 2nd year player albeit inactive his rookie year. But the Colts have a rookie LT, Tony Ugoh, playing very well and hasn't gotten much help. But at some point they HAVE to help Justice. Why let the QB on a 80% knee take that bad of a beating? Remember when the Eagles pounded Aikman for 12 sacks when they went 1-15? Or the bodybag game? This is reminiscent.

3. Where was Tony Hunt? What'd he have, one carry? Why have Reno goddamn Mahe in there to try to pick up blitzes? That smurfy farg can't block his kids, but yet they have him trying to pick up blitzing LBs.

4. This is a beaut here; the timeout before they let Akers try the 53 yarder. Are you KIDDING me? They call a timeout to come out and kick it because the FG unit wasn't ready to go.

5. When McNabb actually had some time, and that means about .3 of a second, dropped passes.

This defense, much like in the Packers game and the taterskins game, played well enough to win. But the offense shtein the bed.

This is the most unprepared and unfocused game I have ever seen, and I've seen quite a few ballgames now. Jesus farg, are you kidding me with this horseshtein?

Way to let McNabb take a beating, Andy and Marty. Great job tonight fellas. Real bang up effort, farg faces.

Another great job heading into a bye week.

The only game that comes to mind is opening day against the Bucs in the Linc.  But this game was 100x worse because the Giants aren't defending superbowl champs.

I'd like to also point out Omar Gaither running OOB to avoid ELI MANNING after that pick.

What's Eli going to do to you OG, bark at you and piss on your leg? Have a set of BALLS, Hoyda.

Andy and Marty were ass raped by Spagnuolo's defense. Great job tonight you stubborn fargheads. The run's working, the defense is stopping the Jints and the OL can't pass block...so what do they do?

Pass more.

They should have to walk home. And Andy will pull out the "I didn't have my team ready to go" speech.

Yeah, that was pretty effin weak.  The only thing worse would be ducking OOB to avoid a punter.  Unless it's Rocca.

i still don't understand not giving justice help.  thats like, football 101.

plus the lack of shorter routes run.  if the d is getting pressure, and you can't block 1-1 (bc you give wj no help), and you qb is 80%, and your qb has been getting killed all day, and the RUNNING game is actually working...why do you keep on calling pass plays?  and 2, why are all your pass plays have the wr's run about 8 yards out then make a cut?  isn't this the same thing with pinky and thrash?  i mean, we couldn't get them open so we started calling shorter routes and slants...we didn't even do that tonight.  i just don't understand it.  it's the most basic things.
Pass.  Pass. Pass. PUNT.  No pro bowl WR's.  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  Retarded special teams.  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  "I've got to do a better job."  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  Running game shines for 3 plays. Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  No adjustments anywhere.  Pass.  Pass. Pass. PUNT.  (repeat)

Last year vs Jacksonville

2004 at Pittsburgh

2001 vs Oakland, vs Washington and at San Francisco

I don't know, Ed...they were bad, but nothing this bad. Not 12 sacks bad. Not a yellow flag on every play bad.

McCauley and his crew actually could have thrown a false start on Antone Justice just about every play. Dude was atrocious. Stupid mental errors galore.

Worst game ever in the Reid era. For real.

BigEd76

Maybe they should move him back to right tackle

When a slightly above average (but definitely not franchise material) DE puts up 6 sacks against you, you got...

I Bet Umenyiora will be lucky to get 6 more sacks the whole rest of the season.
Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad.

PhillyPhreak54

Or the inactive list. I liked him there better.

QB Eagles

Final penalty tally: 15 for 132 yards.

1.8 yards per pass play.
4 fumbles.
62 yards lost on 12 sacks.

194 yards lost to penalties and sacks versus 190 total offensive yards.

Embarrassing.

coaching staff aside, i wonder what we do this off season in regards to tra/william.  curious what we do at wr and db too.

andy reid's gotta be stripped of playcalling duty, final say, head coach...something.  all the penalites on top of this zesty game.  unbelieveable.  funny thing is, i think our d played pretty well, especially considering we had no dawk/lito.
