It's not that I'm against steroids or drugs per se.  That's not the issue.

The issue is that Jones was a cheater..the rules were clear.  Insofar as she broke those rules, she should forfeit any medals, etc.  Unfortunately for them, that extends just as certainly to any clean honest teamates she helped in a relay race, etc.

like anyone is really surprised she was doping

also...I hear some people saying that the other's on her team shouldn't have to give up their medals.  WRONG.  They all lose because she cheated.  Their problem should be with her, not with the people taking their medals away

For someone who is supposedly pro-drug I find your position on this issue to be curious to say the least.

Personally I think athletes should be able to take whatever substances science can come up with.  If they want to enhance their performance at the risk of their own long-term health then who are we to tell them they can't?  Shoot up, load up, and dope up as much as you want - just don't come crying to me afterwards looking for a handout when your body is destroyed by age 40.

That's why.  Because these drugs are not only muscle building, buy psychotropic.  The rage assigned to them is well-documented.  Letting these roid monkeys use "anything" they can get their hands on?  How bout when you're 15 yr old is playing DE, and wants to bulk up?  You gonna tell him tough shtein when he winds up like Lyle Alzedo?
Anyone but Reid.

The world most certainly does NOT miss that farger, his brutal wife, or their mongrel offspring.  I count the world a better place without the whole lot.

You got a better point than this??

Just be happy he only killed his family, not others.  Letting "anyone" take "anything" just because they can eat their own consequences is stupid beyond acceptance.

The average adult is a dolt.  The average athlete is well below the median.  Letting them do whatever they want, when there are known consequences that affect everyone, is crazy foolish.
Anyone but Reid.

LOL - One athlete out of a million goes on a killing spree and you're using him as an example as to why people shouldn't be permitted to use performance enhancing drugs?  Laughable.

How many people die from drunken drivers?  Should we ban alcohol because of those clowns?  How about water?  Should we ban water too because people drown every year?  Gimme a break.

PoopyfaceMcGee

You had me before the "water" stuff.  Should have stopped with alcohol to make your point.

Remember, alcohol is the answer to everything.

alcohol is used one billion times more than anabolic steroid injections...were steroids used in the same quantities it would be an infinitely bigger problem

That would be checkmate.  Course, it's the argument most people use to not legalize pot, too.

So now Justice is being put in at RG?  This doens't make me feel good about him..and I don't like the idea of Andrews at tackle.

I'd rather see Justice at RT since that's what he played in college.  The kid's a farging scapegoat enough as it is.  Quit farging with his position and try him out where he should be most comfortable.  If he still sucks at RT then try him at G or cut him and move on.

I think I have a perfect solution. All athletes agree to take the same performance enhancing drugs as everyone else in their sport. These can be given out by whatever governing body the sport has. However, they agree to be caged at all times when not practicing or performing any activities they're under contract for. Daily drug tests will be required, and the athletes will be under constant video surveillance. Anyone caught taking more or less drugs than allowed will have their contract, and life, forfeit.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Diomedes

Do you have a solution for the Winston Justice problem, oh wise one?
