to clarify season 5 is awful only compared to seasons 1-4 of the wire

because the wire is so good i could never watch another tv drama for the rest of time...but in the same manner because season 5 is so far below the first four seasons id have a hard time watching it again

I swear to Dio's God I was gonna go back and edit my last post because I knew this post was coming. Yes, 5 was better than 99.9% of anything else that's on television but by Wire standards it blew.

My girl, after ripping it early on, is now into it as well. She was put off by the slow starts, but she's hooked too. I'm going to knock out 2 more episodes tonight

I actually ended up finishing three episodes last night and I am through #7. The dissent in the Barksdale gang is going to be fun to watch and see how it plays out. And how stupid is Bodie? Nice bag drop, dumbass.

Agreed on the GOAT and I'm only 1.5 seasons in.

imo getting the duck served no purpose other than to use it to speak on ziggys personality

getting the duck was to show ziggys complete lack of impulse control...even when the guy tried to talk him out of a duck and that there were better and easier birds to get he still said no and had to get the duck...stubborn no thinking no debating just get the duck on a whim
