complaining on an internet message board will solve that problem
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

SunMo

you could post that sarcastic remark after every post on this board
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

MDS

Yeah, you got shafted there...13 is the lock down sew everything up one.

I started Season Two the other day. I've watched the first two and I thought it started slow. But then again, I am so used to seeing the same people from the first season in their roles and to have it switched up and new people introduced its takin me a minute to get used to it.

phattymatty

yeah i was a little skeptical through the first 2 or 3 episodes of season 2 but it gets really good once they're done setting up characters.

PhillyPhreak54

Matty on point...

I finished up 3-4-5 the past two days and it's awesome. The characters are set and I'm hooked like usual. I love that they got the crew back together.

every season starts slow in the wire...its why a lot of people dont like it....its more like a great novel than a great tv show as it takes it time in setting up its stories...not a ton of character development in the show but its plot development is incredibly detailed

season two imo is the one that gets better with time...its my second favorite season right behind four
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Diomedes

Season four is the pinnacle, agreed.  But after that I have a hard time sorting which of the remainders I prefer.  Season five would probably lead a fan poll as the worst, but I think it's sublime.

the way ill never watch another tv drama again because of the wires greatness is the same way ill never watch season 5 again because of 1-4's greatness

its still better than any other tv show but its so inferiror to 1-4 that i cant do it

1-4 are all on the same level and you can make an argument for them being in any order but i put them like this

4, 2, 1, 3

5

yeah i watched it...his views on the newspaper industry have been well known for years going all the way back to the mid 90's stemming from his baltimore sun blow out...that actually was one of my problems with season 5...his personal agenda and bitterness drove too much of the show and the result of that was the often ludicrous over the top serial killer plot line just to prove a point

oh, it was ludicrous, no question.  that was the point, though...it was ludicrous because the system being described is unbelievable

for four years he depicted big city institutions in an incredibly realistic and honest way and then season five he starts hyperbolizing to the point of being unrealistic...i hated it...it wasnt simon it wasnt the wire....because all he wanted to do was slam the sun and he did it at the expenses of the show imo
