Now that Chili's has a soup/salad/chips unlimited deal, Olive Garden's soup/salad/breadsticks is expendable.

I don't get why you'd go out to eat nothing but soup and salad. What's the point?

Dude, clearly you're missing the chips and salsa part of that deal.  It's key.

The point of going out for a meal like that is that you are really hungry, don't feel like cooking, and don't need anything special or fancy.  I personally only do that maybe once every 6 months, but many people do that sort of thing all the time.

QuotePick one of our delicious soups and a Caesar or House Salad - all served quickly with our chips & house-made salsa. Unlimited refills! After 4pm, add $2.00.

What difference does it make to you?

Do you really have that many people coming up to you in a week or a month telling you how much they love the olive garden?

I am guessing you do that more than once ever six months.

It's also a colossal waste of time and money. Heating up soup and making a salad...even opening a bag of chips is not all that much work.

Forgive my ignorance... What's this delicious-sounding beverage?

By the way, full quote from "some movie":
QuoteI don't want it near schools!  I don't want it sold to children!  That's an infamia.  In my city, we would keep the traffic in the dark people, the coloreds.  They're animals anyway, so let them lose their souls.

i thought i might have reversed that

Ah, but since you reversed the quote and used it ironically to refer to backwoods white people, I thought the whole presentation was part of your plan.

I'm disappointed to find out otherwise.

i like it because im not a fan of tequila but with the gm cointreau and oj added it tastes closer to a sweet long island than a margarita...so be forewarned if youre looking for a margarita in any kind of traditional sense you wont be getting it

Long Islands are basically king of all mixed drinks, so I have no problems with that.
