I have a friend that bartends at the one on Cottman ave. in the Roosevelt mall. She worked there for almost 10 years, went into work Monday and the shtein was closed, no notification from management to their employees. What a bunch of iceholes.

McDonald's Corp. is testing modifications to its popular $1 double cheeseburger, and higher prices for the sandwich, as it prepares to change its Dollar Menu by next year.
In an interview, Don Thompson, president of McDonald's U.S. business, said the company has tested ways to make the burger less expensive to make. Some restaurants are selling it with one slice of cheese instead of two, and billing it as a "double hamburger with cheese." Others are offering a double hamburger without cheese. Some are selling the traditional double cheeseburger at prices ranging from $1.09 to $1.19.

Do you have any idea what quality of "beef" and cheese would have to be in a double cheeseburger to make it profitable at $1?

If they have to farg with the price to keep the "goat" profitable, wouldn't that make more sense than skimping on the cheese or otherwise altering the sandwich to keep the price at $1?

no...i dont go to mcdonalds often but when i do i get two doubles two fries and an apple pie for five bucks...if this messes with that just take them all off the menu completely

i also liked paying exactly $1.05 for one $1.10 for two ect ect...now its gonna be like $1.23 or some shtein...bogus
