I'm not crazy about the FOF's as they come but I always ask them to put lettuce and mayo on them instead of the horrible tartar sauce.

time to act on that suicide thing weve talked about

Has Steak & Shake filtered its way into the Northeast yet?  Those burgers aren't bad at all and the milkshakes they serve are pretty good too.  Forgot to mention them.

I ate at Wendy's for the first time ever, due to prodding from this board (I don't each much fast food since college).
I had just the normal Double Cheese burger.
Pretty solid, tasted like hamburger meat and cheese as opposed to whatever the hell McDoh's tastes like.
Dooesn't hold a candle to In-and-Out.

I guess I should've got the baconnator jam.

no fast food burger joint comes close to In-n-Out

Finally made a visit to Moe's Southwestern Grill. I was at another store, and I was thinking of stopping a drive-thru burger...but I spotted the Moe's sign. I'd never been to one, so I figured I would give it a try. Especially since I didn't want to go right back to the office.

I got nachos. Not too bad. Certainly not on the same level as some of the Mexican places in the area...but certainly better than Taco Hell. A bit steeper in price, too.

Definitely not a place I'd go out of my way for...but also not one I'd avoid.

Inspired by an episode of the Boondocks, a few brave souls from the heart of the Valley undertook the monumental task of creating and eating a Luther Burger. It consists of one pound of ground beef, cheese, grilled onions, and five strips of bacon. Sounds over the top? Replace the buns with Krispy Kreme donuts and you've got yourself a Luther burger. And a shortened life span.

For those that are health-conscious or living-conscious, the Luther Burger probably isn't something you want to eat on a regular basis (or at all). It has a little over 1,000 calories and over 45 grams of fat per serving. LAisters, keep in mind that the Chipotle steak burrito has roughly 1,300 calories and 55 grams of fat (and around 4,000 mg of Sodium). Without chips. Legends (aka Wikipedia) tell us that the Luther burger causes an impairment of basic motor functions, what is commonly referred to as the "itis." This burger is also reputed to have been a favorite of the great Luther Vandross, who might have had a hand in its creation. Could this burger be the secret to his silky smooth voice?
