One of the Reid sons turned himself in today, and I think Andy did the right thing not being there to walk him in. You can hate Reid all you want, but I think it's the right thing to do. Tell your son he's a grown man, he's done grown man things, and now he has to own up to it himself like a grown man. I'm sure Andy could easily pull some strings or something, but instead he's saying "You're old enough to know you shouldn't be doing shtein like that, and now that you have, you gotta deal with the concequences."

youre being naive to think thats why reid didnt post....he didnt show because if he is at court this story really blows up.....especially nationally....its all over espn and perhaps even starts grabbing the attention of national nightly news ala dungys son...he hasnt commented on this for a reason...for one he doesnt say a lot in general but he specifically wants this kept as a family matter and the less attention the better...which is a smart thing to do but dont think he didnt show because hes all of a sudden some strict disciplinarian

You don't think you've seen enough of Reid over the years to think that he probably is pretty stern with his kids?

Of course PART of the reason why he didn't show up is to keep it small and try and keep national media attention off of it...but you honestly can't see Andy talking to his sons sayin "guys, you're 24 and 21 years old now, I'm not going to get you out of this. This is your mistake, you have to own up for it..."

And then insert a 30 minute talk on God and the Mormon religion and how drugs are bad, etc.

Sounds exactly like the type of father Reid would be to me.
