AS LONG AS THE EAGLES IGNORE AND SCALP TICKETS THEMSELVES, I WILL TOO. BUT FOR THE GOOD OF ALL LOCAL FANS, I WOULD MUCH RATHER SEE THEM REVOKE SCALPED TICKETS. THAT WOULD INCLUDE ME TOO.

He still hasn't explained why he's angry at the Eagles for selling to scalpers (him) yet he's not angry at the scalpers themselves.
Thanks for making my point again.  The funny thing is you still don't understand it.  Classic.

Sgt PSN

So now you're pissed because the Eagles didn't revoke your scalped tickets?

how easy would it be for the eagles
to go on razorgator/ebay/stubhub ect
get the seat locations of these blocks
or any ticket that is found to be for sale for greater than 50% of the eagle games
and take them away from the account holder
then offer them to the "waiting list"
EXACTLY THE POINT.  THANK YOU.  It would be very easy.  They choose not to and it has to be because they are getting a kickback.  What other possible reason could it be?  Why wouldn't they want local fans using the tickets?  It can't be that hard to track down the owner of an entire row of tickets, or 12 in the same row.  Plus, how did one person actually even get 12 to 20 tickets together?

Because, he is pissed off that he doesn't get a shot at more inventory.  He can't scalp them if they are sold directly to the ticket brokers...

I said it before - this guy might just be a troll, but I think it is more likely that he has some other agenda.  For all we know, he works for StubHub, and is pissed that the Eagles are advertising with the competition.

I agree with IGY - season tickets should be for fans, not brokers.  I don't think any individual should hold the rights for more than 4 season tickets.  I think what IGY proposes for monitoring EBay et al is perfectly reasonable.  Unfortunately this yahoo doesn't propose solutions, he doesn't engage in conversation, and doesn't participate in any meaningful way in this forum except for his out of control rants and useless rally cries.

Go away troll.  We heard your message, some of us agree with some of your points, but your obsession is way out of control and I for one am bored with it.
Your kidding right?  You can't be that dumb.  I am one of the few who is proposing solutions and engaging in conversation when someone actually wants to discuss the actual topic.

Troll?  I should be living under a bridge.

Hey skippy, if you are bored with the topic, why do you read and post.  You always have the option of moving on.  Didn't think of that did you?

The most glaring one was the Pepsi Zone deal.  They were supposed to leave that plaza open (it's open in the original plans of the Linc) but they saw an opportunity to sell more tickets and jumped on it.

The SRO nonsense is another.  All those extra people in the stadium diminishes the game-day experience at least for me anyway.
HEY WE AGREE.  I totally think that SRO non-sense was another slap in the face.  One of the nice parts of the stadium (I won't get started on how poor the stadium design was) was that there were pavillions that people could stand and chat and still see the game.  Now those are gone with 12 and 15 people deep SRO's.  Money friggin grubbers.

I actually enjoyed the last few posts. People were actually discussing the problem.

I don't understand why you feel a need for a knee-jerk attack when I'm basically agreeing with you.
no one attacks anyone here, the name calling and personal attacks are just expressions of appreciation.

is there any sort of legal action that can be taken to try and get them to publish this waiting list they claim to have?

i'm thinking no, but i'm not a lawyer

If it gets enough media attention like Hoagiegate, it's possible that the process will become more transparent or at least end the fraud of calling it a waiting list.

If tooflapoo can focus his energy on this single issue, he can use his pitbull tenacity whip up fans & media.
That's the plan, my friend.  I picked last June to start right after the tickets went on sale.  I got screwed last year because of the Phillies pitcher wife beating episode, stole much of the radio time that same week.  I have already set up two articles to run and will be doing a weekly call into WIP at night to update the number of tickets on RazorGator, highlighting the Sections and Rows that have 10 or more seats available.

I have also contacted ESPN and provided them with the same kind of info that I gave the Daily News last year.  We have been bouncing emails back and forth, as they try to mine more info.

The Jets waiting list is the best in the business.  They charge to be on it, but everyone has a number.  A waiting list without numbers is not a waiting list.

I'm in my 40s and have been an Eagles fan all my life, I still watch every week and go when I can.  The Club Seats are the only ones you can get for close to face value, since they are so high to start with.  Worth every penny on those cold days, and since I don't get around very well anymore, the elevators help out.

It's either Tony the dooshbag or that guy yahmpy from the EMB. He is always ranting about season tix too.

As for Joey B being a smarmy prick - nothing new there. He reeks of smugness. But if they won a SB he could give IGY a lapdance for all I care...I just want one championship.
Dooshbag (spelling phonetically)?  I know you are but what am I????

No championships for a team this crappy towards its fans.  Smug, arrogant (for no real reason), sneaky, underhanded, liars...it all adds up to bad karma.

Next question.....
