freaking die-hard, i'll have to start looking at the front pages of the papers to see how well documented this one is.

nice win by the birds, they seemed to put it all together.

Apparently the "Die Hard pose" is the new Heisman posture for the fans:

What is Jeff Lurie talking about? They cannot win the division next week.

season ticket holders have to have their $190 for playoff tickets in by Friday.  this game was a step towards paying that money.  i still don't know what to do though.

i know its an awful decision...i think i gotta do it now

i cant believe the divisonal round ticket is $115...my god what would they charge for a conference championship game (full dsiclosure: i believe the nfl sets the postseason ticket prices not the individual teams)

i thought the divisional was $85 and the conference was $105

at least, that's what it is for me.

My invoice says $85 and $110.

I was on the fence about paying, depending on the results of yesterday. I don't have a big problem with paying it now. The only problem is that it's a nice chunk-o-change at a bad time of the year.

exactly.  i know that you can put it towards your tickets next year or get a refund, but the timing is bad.  Even if i knew they would definitely have one home game, I'd probably do it.  but you could pay $190 and not get anything, which wouldn't be great.

wait so you dont have to put it towards next years seasons?

i didnt think getting a refund was an option

Im only repeating what my grandfather told me Saturday night, as the tickets are in his name and he got the letter, but he told me that you can get a refund.  He could've been mistaken though.

Yes, there is an option to get a refund. If you pay online, there is a box to check so that they will refund your CC should the games not be played.

I just went ahead and did it...and I opted to not check the refund box. It might reduce the the season-ticket-renewal pain a little.

I was listening to Chris Carter on Sirius radio this morning, and he makes a great point - not only did the Eagles execute well, but they had an amazing game plan going into the game.  As a number of others have pointed out (sarcastically), the Giants were actually SURPRISED for a number of plays.  Can I get a "Hell Yeah" for the Westbrook-Buck 2 back set?

Also, it was nice to have a QB out there who feels like a Philly QB.  I like the fire and the passion.  No giggling after throwing a pick.  No whiney-faced expressions when someone runs the wrong route or misses a block.  Right in their face, getting the job done.  McNabb may be a better athlete and probably a better QB, but Garcia is leading this team.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.
