Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Hahaha... McCain's tone was hilarious.   The looks on their faces was even funnier.

mccain got busted playing poker on his phone during the syria hearing yesterday.

and yeah sometimes he looks like one of the few good guys on the right. too bad he sold his soul for the 08 nomination and disregarded everything he believed in and lost any kind of credibility he might have as a decent guy.

The moral cowardice of the western world absolute amazes me.   There's unequivocal proof of a hostile regime known for ruthlessly killing its own citizens and quelling any sort of civil disobedience taking the final step of using weapons of mass destruction on women and children within its own borders and no one wants to get involved to stop them.

Of course it's left up to the United States to do something about it just like it is every other time something like this happens.

Where is NATO in all this?  Why are Russia & China doing their usual dance at the U.N.?  It is just a farging game these iceholes enjoy playing?

Assad is slaughtering people with chemical weapons.  Close to 100,000 civilians have been killed in this uprising.  Reports of 2,000,000 refugees have fled Syria's borders.  Yet everyone sits idly by and does nothing but point fingers.   It's sickening.

Maybe the United States should simply walk into the U.N. and say, "you know what... we're done.  You fargers aren't serious about maintaining order so you go ahead and deal with the tyrants of the world for a while."   See how that works out.

I oppose an attack on Syria.  I don't see how it would help the situation in any way.  When Assad marches on another nation state, lets talk again.  Until then, this is a civil war with horror running the show on all sides, so no thank you.

And I'm not much swayed by the argument that we must punish Assad for using chemical weapons.  Sure sure, it's supposed to be taboo...but so is all the other killing he's doing and no one is getting their panties in a bunch over that.  Besides, chemical weapons are not very effective, or very widespread.  It's not like this is a harbinger of chemical warfare becoming vogue worldwide.  Only a few players on earth have them and frankly the scale doesn't warrant our meddling.  1500 people gassed is no different in the end than 1500 shot and we didn't get off our couches for those numbers ten, fifteen times over so we had better not for this.

If there is an attack however, it must target Assad himself.  The point would be to deliver some kind of message to the world along the lines of, sure we have a lot of rules that we don't enforce and if you want to kill hundreds of thousands of your own people by conventional means that's against one of our rules and all, but we'll probably do nothing until you break this one little rule about these antiquated weapons that are hard to use and easy to trace and yeah, the world is now on notice that if you break that rule, there are rockets coming for you.  Yay rules.
