I don't even watch Fox News. I heard what he's said, from everywere. You're sorely mistaken if you think the only criticism of Obama comes from Fox News. It proves how partisan you are.

I've read and heard what he's said from numerous sources that I'm not even going to bother quoting to you because you'll just spin it. I guess I have taken things he's said one way and people like you have taken them another way. I actually hope that I'm wrong in opinion of him because if I'm right about the way I feel then this country hasn't even come close to rock bottom yet.

I'm ignoring race, and where you get your news, but what are you talking about?  Your argument is akin to saying, yeah FACT CHECKERS unanimously agree, but I'll stick my fingers in my ears and pretend what I believe is right because I believe it.  I'm not even a liberal, it just pisses me off when people reiterate cliched talking points which have been thoroughly disproven.  I get to hear a lot of the same shtein living in Alabama, and people would rather live in ignorance than admit they are wrong.

Thinking the President is a decent guy/cool =/= thinking he's the best thing ever.

I don't see why going on a TV talk show is "beneath the POTUS". The View might not appeal to you or me but a lot of middle class soccer moms do watch it and it's a good arena for politicians to speak directly to women. Id much rather have our candidates go around doing talk shows than putting out those god awful commercials...at least a decent host can try to keep the guy/girl somewhat honest.

What!? The View a good arena to speak to women? Wow.

ice grillin you

Yes. When youre on a campaign, your mission is to get your ideas and policy positions out to as many different voter blocks as possible. It helps when you can directly address one group, which is why you see candidates making stump speeches at  *insert group here* gatherings. The View attracts a lot of female viewers, and thus it is smart to go on the show and let that group of voters get to see you outside of the 30 second "the world will end if my opponent is reelected" commercials.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

He couldn't afford it, probably because of all the freeloaders in England.
