It was too long.  His cadence was not varied enough for the span of time he occupied.  Quiet, strident, quiet strident.   Snooze.  And yes, fake choked up when talking about the families of the heros, blah blah....ugh.

For nerdy policy wonks, Bill was obviously the climax. Biden's speech was definitely more about trying to get the emotional voter who's bored by policy talk.

I liked Barry's speech.  It wasn't a home run but it was effective.  The choice simply couldn't be more obvious for roughly 99% of us.
