So, John Kerry. That speech was so forced and stiff but holy shtein did he evicerate Romney. But seriously farg John Kerry. He's the Romney of the left. Empty suit. No personality. No creativity. Couldn't even beat Bush. farging loser.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

My wife teared up when she came out.  I'm sure GF did, too.

cool moment.

i really dislike that wasserman-schultz chick though.

Rome

I haven't watched either convention because I don't really give a shtein at this point (straight Dem down the line).  But what I've seen is a sense of positivity and optimism from the Democrats whereas the Republicans all seem angry and belligerent.  Admittedly I'm biased but there's definitely a huge difference in tone between the two sides.   I honestly think if the Republicans had dialed down the hateful rhetoric (and I mean WAY down) and just went at Obama with respect and civility they might have had a shot, because let's face it, Obama has been a disappointment (minor to most, crushing to others) to almost everyone who voted for him in 2008.   Not enough for me to switch especially to a vulture like Romney, but still...

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

SD

Tomorrow Limbaugh will say Gifford was faking it

You're right Munson, they had that stadium so filled, that they were busing people in from South Carolina, then all of a sudden moved the speech indoors cause of a small percentage of rain, confusing even the local weatherman in Carolina.

And Rome, you are clearly blinded by your party allegiance.

And here comes bumbling Joe!     Bumped out of prime time on 2 of the 3 major networks, since they moved his speech up.

3 Democrats compared various Republicans to Nazis this week, one delegate threatened to kill Romney, half the delegates booed the inclusion of God and Jersualem in the platform, the list goes on and one, but Rome only sees hate spewing from the Republicans.

I'd really like to hear what the President has to say but it's just too late.  I'll read about it tomorrow.
