"I'm blessed to pay a lot in taxes, " Rollins says. "I have friends and relatives that go day-to-day. Every American deserves to feel secure at the end of their life. So if it's going to lift two families up, go 'head, tax me more, I can handle it. Best I know, everyone's going to die. No one's taking money to the afterlife."

Only solidifies my JRoll man love even more.

Fears that Barack Obama will not win back the Presidency have prompted members of his own party to field a group of challengers in the upcoming primaries.

Progressive leaders within the Democrats, worried that the liberal voice is not being heard during the campaign, are vowing to prepare a slate of six expert candidates.

But they have claimed they do not want to oust Obama - instead, they say it will highlight issues that he could then take on to debate during the Presidential election.

Ralph Nader said: 'What we are looking at now is the dullest presidential campaign since Walter Mondale - and that's saying something, believe me.'

Mr Nader, who ran against Obama in 2008, warned the Washington Times that without an intra-party challenge the liberal agenda would be 'muted and ignored'.

And he believes a one-man primary would kill voter enthusiasm and would not give voters a chance to reflect on the real differences that divide the Democratic and Republican parties.

More than 45 Democrats are supporting the move, and the candidates will be experts in fields ranging from poverty to the military.

I've loosely followed this case over the last several years and honestly figured that sooner or later, and hoped that sooner or later this guy would his day back in court.  Doesn't look like that's going to happen now.

Troy Davis is set to be executed in the next few hours after his appeal was denied.  I don't understand how in these times, with forensic evidence, a person can be executed when there isn't a single piece of physical evidence that points towards the accused. 

Am I saying he didn't do it?  Not at all.  But there is entirely way too much circumstansial evidence and not enough hard evidence in this case that would convince me that he did.  Not only that, but like 10 different people have changed or recanted their original testimony and another 8 have named another individual as the killer. 

This is just as awful as when Genarlow Wilson was sentenced to 10 years for getting a hummer from a 15 year old (he was 17 at the time.)  Georgia is an absolutely embarrassming example of the legal system.
