the "liberal media" thing was propaganda invented by the right to get people to stop believing what was said and written about them.

yes, the people running the times, post, nbc, abc, cbs, etc. are probably limousine liberals. the reporters probably are bleeding hearts. this is who goes into this industry, people who are republicans are more prone to simply following orders and following chain of command. that mindset goes against the basis of journalism.

difference is sure those people think that way, but roger ailes, who runs fox, is actually a republican operative. he worked for nixon and was a key strategist for many years. then he went on to produce limbaughs tv show. he is an unapologetic republican. fox news was created to carry out a very specific voice and reach a very specific audience.

CNN is terrible and MSNBC is the lefts lame answer to fox. but you cannot sit there and tell me brian williams is a liberal. or that 60 minutes leans left. or that nightline is like that. watch those newscasts if you need information. cable news is disgusting and just horrible. please dont loop msnbc and fox in with everyone else.

There's the zombies for both parties. The democrats have plenty of people that line up to vote just because. The IEA is the perfect example. The teacher unions have been pushing and pushing to vote for whatever democrat is up for a vote, problem has been the Democrats have been using their pension plan like a credit card for a long time and now the TRS pension is over 40 billion in the hole, but the good old IEA is blaming repubs for wanting to change the pension system so it  can be saved. Just like some whites voted for anyone but Obama becasue he was black, how many blacks voted for him, just cause he is black.

Munson

There is not one Republican idea about the pension plan that would "save it".....Republicans would kill pension plans if they could get away with it.

And despite the Dems farging them on the regular, people like teachers and union workers vote for them because the other option, republicans, would be that much worse for them.

It's like knowing you're getting farged in the ass, and getting to choose between the smaller dildo with lube, and the bigger dildo without lube. Obviously you're going to choose the smaller dildo with lube, but in the end, you're still getting farged up the ass.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

i was talking about the way people act in general, it has nothing to do with voting. most people choose who theyre going to vote on on simply party lines or stupid bullshtein like who theyd rather have a beer with or simply following the popular pick.

republicans are more likely to go to the military (very structured) or work in field that is run in the same kind of way. that doesnt mean there arent liberal soldiers because there are, it just means these are generally the types of people who go into the field.

the basis of news reporting (not tv, which is 100% attention seeking haircuts) is to never trust what youre told and keep asking why why why and plow through walls, disobey orders, etc. that goes against the basis of republicans ideals which is to as youre told and shut up.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

This is probably the most accurate stereotype and generalization you've made.

'Blacks' vote Democrat regardless. I'm sure more of them got out and voted this time but lets not act like they were 50/50 split votes and suddenly they all ran to the Democratic side because the candidate was black.

ice grillin you

That is some funny shtein.

Here's my problem with this logic. I am often called a racist due to an assumtion that I think like that. However, in the past I have supprted and worked on the campaign of Dr Alan Keyes. Also, I financially supported the effort to draft JC Watts. Not from some sense of altruism but because I agreed with a lot of what they were saying. I really like what Cain has to say, and I was not even aware of his skin color. I have to believe that MOST white people under the age of 30 voted for BHO because they think it was cool to vote for a black guy. I think this because there is always that 35-40% of dyed in the wool Dems who will vote for their man no matter what. However, the polling shows that younger voters overwhelmingly voted for BHO.  I believe in a certain amount of raw intellegence in the average himan. If you subtract that 35-40% of hard core dems, the remainder should have easily realized that BHO was a dangerous blend of ignorance, arrogance and inexperience to be a viable candidate.

lol, I really can't respond to that last post with anything other than LOL.

Yes.

There is not a significant difference in % of blacks who voted for Obama versus those who voted for Kerry/Gore/Clinton etc.  I'm sure there were plenty who voted for Obama because he was black, but they were voting Democrat anyway.  Lets not act like there was some strange deviation that occurred because Obama was running.

holy hell, you supported Alan Keyes? wth is wrong with you. (side note to igy, please never lump me with lw again, I maybe crazy, but I'm not ape shtein crazy). a couple reasons the younger voters ran to Obama was because he was a candidate who used technology to reach them, had a simple message of change and was goin up against grampa smelly and his crazy ass daughter!!

I dont know--or the fact he was the first candidate in how many friggin years to actually speak intelligently and display sincerity behind his words?
