QuoteNow that people are starting to question him and dissaprove of his actions and where he stands

The only people who are seriously dissaproving of Obama's actions are the same people that pulled the lever for Sarah Palin.

bowzer

His approval is in the 40s... so apparently people who voted for him don't like him anymore either.

mpmcgraw

I've never heard anything regarding the approval rating being exclusive to the 60% of the population that actually votes.

Funny, when President Obama was elected the world looked at us as a country that turned the corner, that a black man could make it to the most powerful position in the world. Now that people are starting to question him and dissaprove of his actions and where he stands, EVERYONE is a racist again. There are plenty of white people that will never give a black man a chance, but just because you don't believe in the president actions anymore does not mean you are a flat out racist like President Carter states. It's pretty sad that whenever things go bad for some they have to pull out the race card, bunch of cowards.

i NEVER said the country turned a corner...live in the real world and youll find out quickly we havent...people WANTED us to have turned a corner and i dont blame them it would make me more happy than just about anything i can think of...but it just wasnt realistic

theres a huge difference btwn the % of the VOTE obama got and the number of people against him because of his race....obamas campaign was the best run ever and it got out an incredible number of people who never voted before to vote for him...specifically a huge youth vote...meanwhile much of the right wing base didnt come out to vote because they hated mccain as they believed he was way to liberal and they knew barry was going to win...also the wave barry was riding was enormous and it just wasnt a time to speak out if you were an ignorant so what they did was all crawled back into their holes and hide.....until....

....this health care thing gave them an opening...gave them something to go after...something to threaten...something to slander the black president with...now they are all puffing their racist chests out again...mostly older uneducated MA white people are at all these protests and behind all this venom...doesnt take a sociologist to figure out whats going on

definitely there are people out there who are against his policies but know that this is largely all based on hate and its sickening beyond belief

all praise due jimmy carter for being one of the few powerful white men that will speak the truth

:-D :-D :-D  The problem Jimmy Carter had as president he still has.  He doesn't see situations or people as they really are.  He is unable to defend his or Obamas policies to the American people with facts so he plays the race card.  Straight out of the Jackson/Sharpton community organizers handbook :-D :-D :-D  He's got to able to do better than that!

While it's absurd to say that opposition to the President is mainly rooted in racism, it is equally absurd to say that racism isn't a role. There are large segments of the population who are still Reaganites and they will disagree with a lot of Obama's ideas as a matter of course. There are also (smaller) segments of the population who are racist. Those racists probably disagree on theological grounds as well, but a black president presenting progressive initiatives is going to send them off the deep end...

His fiscal policies were maybe not the best. Maybe.

I have to admit, in hindsight that was pretty smart of the Repubelicans to elect Steele to head the RNC. Now that the inevitable race issue has comeup I noticed they were quick to roll their black guy out their to counter it all. Why can't all negroes be so amenable?

bowzer

Please refer to the Barbara Boxer video I posted...

The Democratic elite is so ridiculously racist it's not even funny...

Keep playing the race card fellas.. the fledgling president is failing.. and you can't defend his proposals.

As for Jimmy Carter..

still irrelveant.. stick to Habitat for Humanity and Peanut Farming.
