Carter is right on the race point, and you are not.  Ho hum.  What he has never been is been politically shrewd.  He's too honest.  It doesn't help liberals or Obama for him to be calling out the racists, but he either doesn't realize that, or doesn't care.  I tend to think the latter.

Disagreeing with someone's policies makes you racist?

Liberals are so racists it's a farging joke.  Any black politican who is also conservative, like Alan Keyes or Condi Rice, is also an uncle tom.

Or how about when the member of that black business organization was speaking about his opposition to the cap and trade bill.  Barbara Boxer was telling him he should be falling in line with the NAACP's thoughts on cap and trade.. and comparing his and his caucus's view to the views of other black organizations...

farging racists

The favorite tack of the racists... point out their blatant racism and they cry, "I'm just disagreeing with his policies!"

Yeah, sure you are.

And when your pals at the office tell the latest Obama is a Coon joke I'm sure you chastise them firmly, right?

Funny, when President Obama was elected the world looked at us as a country that turned the corner, that a black man could make it to the most powerful position in the world. Now that people are starting to question him and dissaprove of his actions and where he stands, EVERYONE is a racist again. There are plenty of white people that will never give a black man a chance, but just because you don't believe in the president actions anymore does not mean you are a flat out racist like President Carter states. It's pretty sad that whenever things go bad for some they have to pull out the race card, bunch of cowards.

Another favorite tack of the racists.... call everyone else racists, just cause they dont agree with you. Yeah thats it, thats the ticket!

Rome

I wasn't referring to you.

Your favorite tack is talking in circles and not offering much of a coherent argument.  That said, I don't think you're a racist.  You are fairly simple, though, which is fine.  The world needs ditch diggers other than Dio.

You didn't respond to my points.  You just insinuated I'm a racist... which is hilarious given by group of friends, the girl I date, etc.

Why is every black politician who rises up in the Republican party an uncle tom.  Why was one of the leading Democrat representatives in Congress being so blantantly racist.

Democrats/Libs love black people.. until they disagree with them.. than they want them to fall back in line.

Really, I have black friends too. I didn't shy away, there are plenty of racists out there. Just because people don't support the current agenda of the president, does not make them racist.

You have lots of black friends, I have no doubt.

And where exactly did I ever mention black Republicans?  Oh, I didn't.  That's right.  Non sequiturs are fun!

The last group of random words strung together make almost no sense whatsoever, so I'll just assume the shrooms have kicked in and you're free associating.

Clearly you two gents haven't been down south since last November have you?

Every single person I talk to who opposes Obama brings up his race. And a few of them will start to blabber about him being "one of dem Muslims"

It makes plenty of sense.  Democrats live off the black vote.  But as soon as a black politican has an opposing view, they are basically told to fall back in line... or called an Uncle Tom..

You didn't bring it up.. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of you and your buddies.

They are just as racist as the people on the left that bring up race everytime anyone criticizes health care or any other Obama policy.

That's the thing though, and I know there are bigots on both sides, they never offer and salient points as to why they don't like him. Other than he's black.

On both threads, I've been called a racist everytime I criticize the president.  I have never brought his race into the equation.  It's hypocrisy at it's best.
