By IGY logic, anything written by a blatant partisan on the right is completely invalidated.  So, by my logic, this isn't even worth reading.

With AIG, didn't the powers that be say they were going to watch where the money was spent?

TPTB approved these massive spending bills with very little oversight and are now trying to legislate after the fact, yes.

P.S.  Anyone outraged about this too?

In shocking news, Chuck Schumer is trying to ride the groundswell against the AIG bonuses for all it's worth politically.

The most dangerous place in the world is to stand between Chuck Schumer and a microphone ;)

There are not in reality, skyrocketing defaults. The fact of the matter is that the entire economic collapse is the direct result of the changing of 2 seemingly small regulations.

1.) The re-instatement of Mark to Market valuation.

2,) The removal of the uptick rule in short selling.

You can do your own research but where it will lead is to the fact that these 2 changes working hand in hand has created this crisis out of nothing.

Obama read part of an Irish dignitary's speech off of a teleprompter and thanked himself in the process.

I'm sure the fair and balanced media wouldn't have crucified Bush for something like this.  Naturally, it can't even be found on YouTube right now.

ice grillin you

ha youre an idiot

obama didnt read anything wrong...he spoke first...then cowen got up to do his speech but the teleprompter guy didnt change it...thus cowen started reading obamas speech...

obama went up to the teleprompter to look at it and at that point it was fixed and he in jest and intentionally pretended he was cowen and he "thanked himself"

cowen is the guy who messed up...i can see reading a couple lines before you realize its not your speech but two paragraphs?

I didn't write the sky.com article, tough guy.  Post the video, and let us decide for ourselves.

Wait, that's right... it can't be found, because it could be construed as an attack on Obama.

ice grillin you

i dont have the video....but i heard it on the radio the other day...and read it in the wash post

however read the article and you can easily deduce that sky got it completely wrong...you really think he went back to the prompter to give a speech when he was done giving his speeches...and even if you believe that you think he would go up and read just the last line of his speech

your reaching is pathetic
