This puts it fairly succinctly.  You can disagree with the specifics in places but not the general idea of the article.

So, the author (and apparently you) missed the almost year long Democratic Primary season?  Even if you only watched after McCain won, the media was exceptionally harsh (70%+ of stories about Obama were negative) with Obama until the race was essentially over.  They only started getting on Hillary's case when it was obvious she should step down.

Every one of those issues was hashed and re-hashed during the primaries.  This is why there is so much democratic venom about Palin - why did Rev. Wright get non-stop play for a couple of weeks, but this yahoo from Africa (famous for his witch hunt) laying hands on Palin is ignored?

And don't get me started about Fox News...

Did I miss Obama's responce to the question:  Do you support reparations for African-Americans.  I think his black supporters believe he does but he can't be asked because it will erode his non black base and independent vote.  Fox News can be very/overly critical of liberals at times.  ABC, NBC and CBS are liberal community organizers.

LOS ANGELES, July 27 (UPI) -- U.S. broadcast networks had more negative coverage of Barack Obama than John McCain during the first weeks of the general election campaign, a study indicated.

The Center for Media and Public Affairs at George Mason University in Virginia, which has studied network news since the 1980s, analyzed content on ABC, CBS and NBC news shows and found that when reporters and anchors expressed opinions they were significantly more negative toward Obama and more positive toward McCain, the Los Angeles Times reported Sunday.

The researchers found that most statements by anchors and reporters were neutral, but when opinions were expressed 28 percent of statements about Obama were positive while 72 percent were negative. The study indicated opinions about McCain were 43 percent positive and 57 percent negative.

The media is liberal and always will be and should therefor not be trusted to tell the truth because liberals are liars except that they've actually been remarkably harsh to Obama so they are only liars 28% of the time and the rest of the time they're ok I guess but they are still not to be trusted so just ignore the fact that Sarah Palin doesn't know anything about her running mate's positions or record and just buy some more miniature american flags.
