He may not have done it for the debates, but he definitely did it for political reasons.  The deal was essentially complete before he even announced his plans.  The only thing he can do right now is screw it up.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Most of the media is balanced, correct?

This puts it fairly succinctly.  You can disagree with the specifics in places but not the general idea of the article.

QuoteThe mainstream media have gone over the line and are now straight out propagandists for the Obama campaign

Says the Washington Times.  Shocking.

Quoteand couldn't fathom the idea of another four years of Bush

I still can't fathom it. I mean WTF? What else could a someone do in four years to demonstrate he's not competent to be President?

Quotei caught the re run of the Bill Clinton interview on the daily show last night. do not have the link but it was pretty good. you listen to Obama and Bill talk and then you listen to Bush and McCain and you see such a difference in terms of intelligence.
Exactly. I saw Clinton on Larry King last night and was again reminded "Oh yea, this is what it was like when we didn't have a retard as president". Clinton may have gotten blowjobs in the Oval Office, and say whatever else you may about him, but he was SMART. So is Obama.

QuoteMost of the media is balanced, correct?

Yes, let me take some time out of my day to read some Washington Times propaganda about how the legitimate news outlets are supposedly biased for Obama. I should follow this up by jerking off to one of the hot babes on Fox News.

PoopyfaceMcGee

No shock in these responses.

Should we add Obama to the :CF banner?

So, the author (and apparently you) missed the almost year long Democratic Primary season?  Even if you only watched after McCain won, the media was exceptionally harsh (70%+ of stories about Obama were negative) with Obama until the race was essentially over.  They only started getting on Hillary's case when it was obvious she should step down.

Every one of those issues was hashed and re-hashed during the primaries.  This is why there is so much democratic venom about Palin - why did Rev. Wright get non-stop play for a couple of weeks, but this yahoo from Africa (famous for his witch hunt) laying hands on Palin is ignored?

And don't get me started about Fox News...

Each of whom knew that it was a photo op for her and McCain, and tolerated the gimmick only because their governments are stooges for the U.S. Empire.
