How can anyone go through that and still remain a functioinal human being, I don't know. They don't come any tougher than Mcain. I respect the hell outta' the man, but don't know if I can vote for him to be our next president. If he gets elected, we are going to be in Iraq for a long, long time.

100% truth.  I repsect the hell outta McCain.  They don't make guys that tough anymore.  And I actually like a lot of his politics.  I could even overlook some of his conservative views to vote for him if it weren't for his stance on the war.  I'd rather see the next 4 years being spent working on getting out of Iraq rather than becoming more deeply embedded over there.  The sad thing is that I don't even think he necessarily believes in this war like Dubbya does but wants to remain over there because he's a warfighter.  In other words, being Commander In Chief is more important to him than being President.

Funny, McCain suffered the same kind of treatment the U.S. has been employing on so-called terrorists.  Ah, the circle of life.

I laughed.  Because it's true.

In 2000 I would have voted for McCain.
In 2004 I would have voted for McCain.
In 2008 it's too late. The last 8 years have sent this country in the wrong direction and as much as I liked the guy he has become more conservative over the past 4 years and that's the last thing the US needs right now. Sorry John, you missed your chance and you can thank the party-line republicans who stonewalled you in 2000 for that.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

That pretty much sums it up.  Hypothetically speaking though, had McCain gotten the Repulican nom and gone on to win the election in 2000, how do you think he would have handled Iraq/Afghanistan over the last 5 years in comparison to Bush? (under the assumption that he won a 2nd term)

McCain would have single handidly taken down Iraq with a pocket knife

He would have rubbed his skin cancer sores all over their women.

McCain probably wouldn't have invaded Iraq because he didn't have a personal vendetta against Hussein.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Looks like Clinton is telling another bogus story in her stump speech.

She is simply full of lies.  Absolutely despicable.

There is absolutly no way anyone can take that lying bitch serious. She's a cronic lying egomaniac.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Hillary could in reality be an out-and-out Socialist or basically a Republican, and I wouldn't be surprised.  Her true opinion on basically anything but health care is a complete mystery.

When I started the article, it sounded like she just ran with bad info, but when she took that weak little story from the cop, then added that the mother was a minimum wage worker at Pizza Hut...compulsive liar.

Oh, and another observation: obviously her point is that her "universal" health care plan would prevent this fictional event from happening.  What she fails to mention is that her plan is made universal by forcing everyone to pay for their plan, or there will be penalties.  If this hypothetical person couldn't afford $100 to go to the hospital, what are the chances she could afford a couple grad for health insurance?

Yea, McCain was a real bad-ass. That explains why he was unable to stay married to his model wife after she got fvcked up in her auto accident.

John Kerry was a real bad-ass in Vietnam too but did his medals matter to Repubelican purple-heart-bandaid wearing fvck-faces? Hell No. As if they gave a shyt. Their ends justified their means.

There are a lot of Right Wingers out there hoping they can slip another election past Americans - Hoping that spreading Obama-is-a-muslim emails around with a large helping of other more typical OMG CENSORED WORD (Obama is a socialist, etc.)  will cloud our memories of just how disastourous the past seven years have been.

John Kerry was a bad-ass in Vietnam like Joe Gibbs was a bad-ass in his 2nd stint with the skins.
