Here's a replacement: Don't call me Barry.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Horseshtein.  The Dems are getting a little ugly right now, but regardless of who wins, all Dems will back their man (or she-male) just to give a big farg you to Doofus.

This changes little.

i agree and i actually think the attacks help barry as hes unseasoned as a poltician and even tho whats gone on in this primary is nothing compared to the karl rove led right wing attack machine it still gives him some experienced in the shady side of the game

It was cute when you started calling him that, but when he comes out and says that using that name was submitting to racism, I have to be amused at your hypocrisy.  Then again, it is clear that you like racism, because if it was gone you wouldn't have that high horse to sit on (ignoring the fact that you have no business sitting on it).

it has nothing to do with race and its certainly not racist to call him by a nickname that his father gave him...he simply prefers to be called barack having nothing to do with racism and no different than tra thomas wanting to be called william...people like you who waste their time on garbage like this do a diservice to the real soldiers who are trying to eliminate racism in THIS country...

RTFA.

QuoteIt's clear that he was trying to fit in somehow, but not in the way of his father's generation. He wanted to be taken seriously, perhaps to rebel against the compromises blacks and others were expected to make in a white-dominated society. But more generally, he was also looking for a community that would accept him as he was, inside and out.

You can say it isn't about race (I don't know what else you would call forced conformance to a white society), but call it what you will, it is certainly disrespectful.

That's why you keep spelling it wrong - you are giving props to the Quebecois!  I should have realized.

That's a fair and equitable solution, sir.  Well said.

I'm going to continue to call him BoBo until then also.

There are a bunch of straight shooters on Fox News - Wallace is fantastic.

However, as long as they employ Bill O'Reilly (who gets the best ratings of any cable "news" show), their FAIR AND BALANCED moniker is a complete joke.
